Mike Sebald's Red Cabbage Ingredients: 1 Head Red Cabbage, Shredded Put Crisco into large pot and heat. Add oinio. Cook until caramelized. Add cabbage and salt to taste. Cook down. Add water if needed to barely cover cabbage. Add diced apples, sugar, vinegar and cloves, Cook on low heat for two hours. Tastes best if made previous day. Grandma's Beef Rouladen Ingredients: 2-lbs Top Round Steak (may be slightly less) Pre heat oven to 325˚. Trim fat from steak and divide into four equal portions. With meat mallet, pound each steak until about 1/4" thick. Cut bacon strips in half, crosswise. Spread one rounded teaspoon of mustard over each steak. Place one half-slice of over mustard, Sprinkle each steak with 1 tblsp. tomato and 1 tblsp onion. Place pickle piece on top of each steak. Salt and pepper to taste. Roll each steak and secure with clean cotton string. Heat oil and butter in dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown rouladen on all sides. Pour beef stock and wine over |

Granny's Brownies Ingredients: 2 Cups Flour In saucepan, mix margarine, 4 Tblsp. cocoa and water. Bring to boil. Mix flour and sugar in bowl. Pour in contents of saucepan. Add buttermilk and beaten eggs and stir well. Mix baking soda with vanilla. Add to mixture and beat well. Pour into 9” x 13” pan and bake in 350˚ oven for 33 minutes. Frosting Ingredients: 1 Stick Margarine Mix margarine ,cocoa and milk in saucepan and bring to boil. Add powder sugar, vanilla and nuts. Ice brownies while still warm.
